a nice clean hotel and our room was spacious and nicely decorated with. there was an iron/hairdryer to handand clean towels daily if required. the rooftop swimming pool was very nice, we only saw it busy once in the week we were there which was good for us. the hotel is a 5/10 minute walk from the bus/train station and the same to northbridge bars/restaurants which was our favourite spot :) i would definately go back to this hotel, my only down point is the people in the next room were noisy and we could hear toilet chain being pulled etc

Very noisy, all night could hear other guests talking, the pool area is small and smelt of stale smoke and had dirty ashtrays and ash on the tables and floor. Room etc was comfy and clean. Check in took a very long time.
Would not recommend this hotel and definately will not be coming back.

Citigate was great for our first 3 days in Perth and allowed us to get to know the city on foot. Easy and pleasant walk into the CBD. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the roof top pool was a lovely way to end the day.

There isn't too much to say about the Citigate Perth. It's familiar and it meets a certain standard for a business traveller, but that's about it. Semi-elegant decor, sensible and almost stylish fittings, but seeming like it was built 20-30 years ago.
The location isn't great - at the far end of the CBD area - and the lack of convenient parking is surprising, considering the expanse of the city. The "well equipped fitness centre" comprised three machines and an incomplete set of weights. And the maid helping herself into my room at 7:30am wasn't ideal
My overall experience was pleasant, but there was an overwhelming sense of "just ok" about everything. . I feel i would have enjoyed other hotels more, had their availability afforded it.
