Perth is an expensive city in Australia when it comes to accommodation and dining. We had a one bedroom suite which was adequately furnished and was clean. The location (Victoria Avenue and Hay street intersection) was quite convenient for catching the free Cat buses running within the downtown and other buses too. There are not too many great restaurants around, and we went to Northbridge area more for dining - it is walkable though, at least one way. Taxi will cost $10. All buses (not just the Cat buses) are free within the downtown area which extended to the southern border of Northbridge. From Aaron's to Burswood casino, take bus 36 or 36, paying $1.80. There are some good restaurants. The downtown is virtually dead after 7.30 pm, and even the Cat buses don't run then.

The staff at Aaron's all suites were very good. They were helpful and courteous. There is a small Indian restaurant at the grouund floor of the hotel. Food was good there, but it lacks the class.

The 0ne bedroom suite was quite spacious and was a great value for the price we paid. How much? Shhhh!!!

Stayed here with a work colleague on a business trip to Perth. We were on the top floor and had a nice view of the river and part of the city. Looked real nice at night. The bed was comfortable enough. The rooms aircon seemed a little touchy. Either real hot or real cold. The room could use a new paint job as well as a new tv and remote control. The room looked run down and very plain. Other work colleagues staying on a lower floor said they could here the elevator. Staff were friendly. Served its purpose which was essentially to sleep but definately needs a facelift.

Hotel accomodation in Perth can be tight and had to stay here for a 10 day work trip.

Good location close to the main CBD with pleasant helpful staff but a lot of problems:

Old TV without a remote control
Bedside light fittings didn't work (even with new bulbs!)
Old, delipidated furniture
Noisy rooms

Will not be returning...

Great location and good value for money. I found the staff to be extremely helpful especially a foreign girl who went out of her way to help us multiple times. We were told that there was no DVD player in our room because it was inbuilt to the TV, which it was not so she got us a new player and tracked down a remote for us also. The rooms are a little run down and I reported everything wrong with it to the reception upon arrival so that we didn't get charged for it as I had read negative reviews on here concerning that but there was no problems. Would definitely stay here again, the rooms are really nice. Only negative thing I can say is that the lift is shocking. Also would like to add that since they were booked out one night in the week we were here we had to stay at Aaron's hotel which was terrible compared to here.
