nice hotel in good location for business in Perth. Room was large and clean. only issue I had was with the restaurant. two attempts to grill Salmon failed and I gave up.

We stayed a couple of nights before our recent trip to Bali, and the standard was as good as you get in Australia. The room was nicely appointed, comfortable with a King Bed.
We stayed a " Summer" special through Wotif, and we were impressed by the staff and service. Valet parking was expensive at $45-00 for 24 hours, but as we only paid around $140-00 a night we were happy to pay, and this was for unlimited use during the 24 hours.
I made use of the limited equipment in the fitness centre, which is a couple of treadmills, a rowing machine, combined exercise machine and free weights, plus a couple of cycles.
The swimming pool was just average, as it's surrounded by bricks and concrete.
The only complaints were no controls for air-con- just on or off- as it was 35 degrees- it meant hot or freezing!
Also the typical single glazing windows, which meant even though we were 7 stories up, we could hear all the noise from the pool areas, or the adjoining rubbish bins when they were emptied by the trucks, but thankfully at night it was very quiet, and we manage to sleep OK.

As Gold members of Hilton Honours we really enjoyed our stay here but it could have been alot better.

Firstly the customer service here during our stay was excellent !!!! could not have asked for a more personal, attentive service from the moment we arrived at the hotel driveway through to our check out.

We upgraded to a King Suite on arrival and the suite was HUGE ! these rooms consist of a separate lounge and full dining area, a very large King Bedroom with writing desk, vanity table and arch chairs, the bathroom was large with separate shower and shower which was a delight (please note that the standard rooms are shower over bath in this property). The suite also had a large balcony overlooking Westralia Square.

The Hotel Lobby, restaurant and public areas were spotless and modern design and very pleasant. the service in the bar area was excellent, personal and very pleasant.

Areas of concern for us was the cleanliness (housekeeping) in the room, we had pubic hair on the bath recess, there was hair on the amenities and also a dirty sock left near the pant press. If the hotel got this improved I would have graded this property Excellent but it definitely lets them down. The hotel is well presented but it is need of a refurb, the furnishings and fixtures are very tired. (example) the toilet/plumbing pipes are visible and this is something one doesn't expect in a 5 star property.

I would definitely give this hotel another chance if they got on top of their housekeeping. Turn Down Service is provided for this room category and was very well done.

Stayed one night in king suite. Very big and amazing bed. Overall very clean and tidy bu hotel old and in need of refurb. Would stay again.
Aircon didn't work in bedroom area so they moved us and gave a complimentary bottle of bubbles.
