My wife and I have just spent 6 nights at Coconutz B&B and would rate it as one of the most relaxing holidays we have had in a while. Situated about 15km and only 15 minutes out of Broome, you are away from all the hustle and bustle of the town itself - as well as the tourist throng. You would think you are miles away from anywhere, and yet so close to town (you do need a car though) to go shopping, or take in any of Broome's attractions. Coconutz B&B is camping on a grand scale, with comfortable bed, a fantastic outdoor bath and shower area (don't worry, it's very private and secluded) and for the more shy there is an "indoor" bathroom. Wake up with the birds chirping and singing as you have an ample breakfast. The only thing here is you need to make your own breakfast. Cereal, bacon/eggs, juice, milk, bread etc. for breakfast are provided each day. There is no hassle about what time you have breakfast, you choose that, meaning you don't have to rush to make sure you get to breakfast on time. Lisa and Jason were perfect hosts and showed us where to go, how to get down on to cable beach, which is about 400m away. The beach is truly superb and because you are out of Broome, there are no, or very few, other people there. There are only 2 tent sites on the property, are well spaced apart in their own secluded area, both with views of the ocean. There is no TV, so be prepared to leave that behind, but this is all about relaxation. Right?
We would definitely come again. If you are looking for something a bit different from the usual B&B or apartment style accommodation, then Coconutz is the answer. If you have any questions at all, give Lisa a call and she is more than willing to answer all your questions.

If you ever come to Broome this just must go on the very top of your list for places to stay. Simply wonderful setting in a tropical garden with super views of the sea and lovely sunsets. Lisa is the hostess with the mostest; friendly, charming and delightful. Tenting has never been this good! Everything you need to be self-sufficient and so private and romantic (even for the mature! (50+) Loved the outdoor bathroom-there's an indoor one if you prefer.

My partner and I travelled from Broome for a one night escape. The hosts Lisa & Jason were so friendly and helpful. The Eco Tent accommodation is simply beautiful - this is luxury camping at its best! Our tent was beautifully furnished and came with a stunning outdoor bath as well as seperate shower room and large decked area complete with shiny BBQ and dining set. The privacy afforded by these tents, through thoughtful design and landscaping, is also excellent.
We drove down to the beach but could have easily walked. The beach was completely deserted, not a soul to be seen for miles. It was hard to believe we were only 15mins drive from Broome!
In the afternoon we kicked back on our verandah with an ice cold beer and watched the breathtaking sunset.
Lisa delivered a pre arranged dinner package to our tent which consisted of Scotch Fillet steak, stuffed chicken wrapped in parma ham and one of the best salads we have eaten in a long time
To sum up our stay I would have to say it was romantic, relaxing, rejuvenating and a weekend very well spent!
