“A real pearler”

From the welcome when you first arrive, thru to the immaculate 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom bungalows, beautiful tropical gardens and pool facilities. This resort is small and intimate without hearing any of your neighbours in the next bungalow. (set just enough apart for that
feeling of intimacy) We lived on the huge front verandah of the bungalow, when at the resort, with its huge overhead fans, which helped (great idea for outdoors) and that huge day bed, just perfect for a book and sundowners. Perfect getaway for the couple who likes comfort and just a small walk away from beautiful Cable Beach, sunset and a Zanders lemonade, and yes the camel rides and crocodile farm. All in all a perfect week. Thank you Rob and Tamara

had a 3 bedroom villa-all facilities without being over the top with luxury.
Was disappointed in the pool but it is adequate albeit . lovely gardens and loved the verandahs -very handy for our door meals and night and line . For the price I would rather stay here and forgo the luxury of The pearle.

“Best Value In Broome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2011

We (family of 5) stayed at the Cocos Beach Bungalows in late October for a week and really enjoyed it. The bungalows are more like houses, 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washing maching and tumble drier, dish washer, all kitchen facilities, air con and ceiling fans in lounge and all bedrooms. The front porch is large and we used it as a second living area, with its own table and chairs inc day bed and ceiling fan, I probably spent more time on the porch area than anywhere. The pool was right next door to our bungalow, its small and can get a bit cramped with several guest using it at once, it doesn't open until 730am, It would have been better to have the sunrise to sunset opening times as we were all awake at 5am normally 8am for us due to the time difference (3hrs) and it was mid 20's degrees at that time, however the kids loved it and we used it everyday, as the temps were low 30's most days with high humidy. The gardens are fantastic, very tropical, even though its next door to a backpackers and near a busy road we found it very peacefull and relaxing. The Zeebar is very close but I found the Tavern around the corner to be better value with nicer food. The bungalows are probably the best value and nicest place to stay in Broome. Thanks Rob & Tamara.

Room Tip: all bungalows looked great

“A Gem in Broome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

We relied totally on the reviews of Trip Advisor when booking our accommodation in Broome (after 11 days camping on the Gibb River Road) and I must say I was not disappointed. The standout here was the friendliness of our hosts Tamara and Rob. Our bungalow was very clean and spacious (with all the facilities you need) as well as a lovely large covered verandah with outdoor table seating. Located close to Cable Beach, the Zeebar and Old Zoo Cafe we particularly enjoyed. Tamara and Rob provide a very personal service and were most helpful and informative when we enquired about local tours. I highly recommend Cocos and look forward to staying with them again.

“A great base in Broome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2011

We enjoyed our stay at Cocos. It was our first trip to Broome and being within walking distance of cable beach was great with tired kids. The old zoo cafe and Zeebar are also very close. Our apartment (No. 9) was a practical layout for our family of 5 and very clean. The tropical gardens were lovely to look onto and it was very quiet. We used the BBQ one night.
The only way Cocos could be improved would be with a larger pool. I would rather be at the beautiful beach but the kids prefer a pool .
