My son and I stayed 3 nights. The motel was clean comfortable and service was friendly. The swimming pool was a great feature that my son used daily. The enviroment was relaxed and there were plenty of laughs around the pool. I recommend staying here. I will return. Thank you Sandown regency.

Clean and comfortable and good value for a family.
The pool is nice and although not heated kept my 8 year old entertained.

We've stayed twice at this place. All the entrances to the rooms are outside. along the carpark in an L shape. the first time we stayed here was nice. we stayed in the delux room which had a nice bed, LCD tv and freshly painted walls. however the spa that was in the bathroom was DISGUSTING. later on that night we found a massive red insect coming out of the jet hole. and in the morning we discovered an earwig under the pillow on our bed. the second time we came was a message from above to never stay here again. typical dandenong style people (african) men and women fighting outside our room. banging on the doors then eventually breaking the bathroom glass and climbing through to their room. was disgusted in the fact that no police came and nothing was done. the next morning while checking out, i was asked 'were you disturbed last night?'. then while explaining he laughed and said 'some people are crazy'.

We stayed here for one night and booked because we liked to look of their website and the price was good. While it was (reasonably) clean it was desperately in need of updating. The restaurant is not open on weekends so make sure you get dinner before arriving. The breakfast is terribly overpriced, you would do better at McDonalds! Needless to say, we won't be staying here again.
