I was a little disappointed in our recent stay. I have stayed in Executive Suites before and was excpected something nicer. The entrance door opened directly into the room and faced the bed. I was standing naked when my husband entered the room and guests walked behind him and had a full VIEW!! No privacy screen or entrance! Also the sliding door into the small bathroom kept opening up, so again on the toilet, full view into room. No bathrobes, OK I can get over that. The desk was poked away in the tiny uninviting nook. We were hoping to use the Royce for our Corporate stays as we travel to Melbourne twice a month for business. However, I think I'll stick to the Grand Hyatt in the City.

Spent only one night but was quite pleased with accommodations. Free drink on arrival, friendly staff, comfy bed, clean, spacious, etc. Price was reasonable considering it is Melbourne. Convenient to catch tram for Flinders St. Station.

Stayed for one night, and one night was enough! Most uncomfortable bed ever slept on! Could hear traffic and trams, not sound proof at all. Bathroom wasn't clean. Breakfast was cold and not exciting. Staff were friendly and attentive.

My partner & I recently stayed 2nts. Wine & choccies on arrival - yum! Lovely rooms, comfy king size bed, great bathroom. Our room overlooked the Grammer School & was very quiet. Very quick & easy tram ride to Flinders St station. Overall a very nice, friendly boutique hotel, would recommend to anyone, and will stay there again when we next visit Melbourne.
