Apart from a bit of a wait at reception to checkin and some carpet in the corridor that needed replacement, this was an good hotel.

The room was comfortable and had everything you would expect.

I am not sure if I share the same enthusiasm for this hotel as other reviewers. It was no doubt a competent airport hotel. It was clean and the location cannot be beat. It is directly opposite the terminal and getting there takes 2 mins. While the rooms were clean, they were also a little dated. There was obviously tear and wear in the furniture, and the bathroom also looked dated. If this hotel was to be worth the cost, which was not low at all, it would be because of the location.

The Parkroyal was a welcome bed after a long haul flight from London. It's so close o the terminals you can wheel your baggage trolley there. The room was big, the beds comfy, the curtains kept the light out and the breakfast was awesome. Good service too. The TV didn't let us play any movies which was a small downer but they tried hard to fix it. All in all, a good experience downunder.

This place had it all: location, comfort and value.

The location is unbeatable, located directly opposite the airport terminal complex. It's also directly accessible from the multi story car parks, so I can't really think of a downside given this is an airport hotel.

Despite it's location, our room (city view) was very quiet. Together with the very comfy beds (we had a family room - a king and 2 singles) I was able to sleep like a log. My family slept less well, but I can't blame the hotel for the volume of my snores...

In-room facilities were good - large TV, mini bar, tera/cofffee facilities, ipod style alarm, writting desk....the usual 4 star stuff. However, the room was definitely large than usual. That, plus the location and good noise levels, give it an extra star in my book.

I found a room on wotif for less than the nearby Holiday Inn, which is pretty good considering the gulf in class between the two hotels.

There were a few really minor things, like tape on the carpet joins in the hallway. But it really didnt affect my overall view of the place.

One small tip to management: have an arrivals/departures channel on the TV's.
