The view is good, but the price is definitely too high. I would rate it a two-star holiday lodge and would find $100/night a reasonable rate. The bedroom is small and the service is very basic.

This was a great place for my family of two adults and two children under 8. Accommodation was clean and very comfortable. Pool was good for the kids even though it was a little cool for me. Play area was small but supervision is required as it is right on the driveway, the kids had fun though.

The place is Ok. Views are good, we found the price too much for what you get. We stayed in Hobart CBD for the same price and in a better hotel

Our weekend stay in Hobart was delightful, and part of that is due to the wonderful staff at Bay View Villas. They went above-and-beyond my expectations, really. What could have been a disaster (a "lost" wallet) was turned around quickly into a great holiday. Thank you to the understanding and helpful staff!

The hotel itself is very pleasant, with a beautiful view and very nice gardens. Our room was comfortable, and when we stayed there it was quiet and peaceful. Nice and close to the local restaurant strip.

It's true that some of our praise may be due to relief and gratitude to the people at Bay View Villas, but all-in-all it was a nice place to stay with attractive surroundings. Recommended.
