This was our second stay at Miner's Cottage and it was as fabulous as the first. The cottage is quaint and perfectly located down a short, dirt road which adds to the seclusion. The finishing touches are what really makes this place - the stock of nuts and nutcracker out on the porch, selection of magazines and books in the lounge room, great breakfast ingredients and gorgeous bed linen. Add to all of that the use of the pool and it really is a magical spot to stay. Highly recommend it to all!

The Miner's Cottage was recommended by quite a few travel guides, and indeed, they were right.
A sweet cottage, charmingly and tastefully decorated so you truly feel at home.
The bath and toilets are adjacent to the cottage, just a couple of steps out, and intensify the sense of living in the country. Godfrey, the owner, who used to give flying tours of the Barossa Valley, is extremely friendly, but these tours are no longer available, unfortunately.
It was a perfect base for our day trips to the wineries around the beautiful Barossa Valle. Too bad we only had 2 nights there.
If you're into unique accommodations - go for it.
