These are great rooms and are fully self contained. They are just a short walk close to the city centre and the tram goes past the front day.

I stayed here a couple of years ago and the room was so good that when I returned a few months back I stayed here again.

The Oaks apartments are amazing, amazinginbgly well equipped and tastefully furnished, do the weekly wash whith the washer & dryer in every apartment!

I stayed here during a recent conference, and it was great - right in the heart of the city - close to the Rundle mall, free tram and bus stops. Apartment was huge and roomy and the staff were young and very helpful and friendly. They are serviced by several eateries as they don't have their own restuarant so we have breakfast at the coffee shop/cafe right alongside their entrance. Best fruit salad! Yes, I would stay here again. Pricewise? have no idea unfortunately - boss paid. We didn't have any of the issues the other reviewers are mentioning - hope I was lucky and that they have changed their ways. Wireless Internet had a charge - not sure about broadband as I didn't connect that way.

One of the doors in our 2 bedroom apartment couldn't open. We asked for help. But as it was the weekend, we were told no one could come fix it! Our room was right next to a common rubbish room. Who in the right mind would have guests staying next to one? I called to ask for a change of rooms as I was concerned about noise and smells. We're booked out for the night, sorry, the reception says. She assures me it's not usually noisy but people do visit the rubbish room to dump their trash. The other thing that was shocking was that upon check-in, reception puts a charge of A$150 on your card in case you damage anything in the apartment. That's onerous -- a tourist has to check his/her credit card bill to see if there has been a charge. And if there's a charge imposed erroneously, the onus is on the tourist to call up Oaks Horizon to sort it out. It's ridiculous to impose this on guests! And definitely too pricey!
