Beautiful period house converted into rooms, cheap rates & includes continental breakfast & parking. Stayed here on the weekend to attend the cricket with my son & girlfriend & the 4 of us had the old Coach House at the back of the house. The rooms are dated but very clean & comfortable - beds were great & if they did them up I guess the tariff would increase. We had a huge room with 2 Q/S beds & 2 single beds separated into 2 rooms almost by a huge divider with a TV in each. TV reception was almost non existent in the 1 room but we weren't there to watch the TV! Beautiful leafy quiet area with seating under the trees & we took advantage of the top weather & spent a few quiet hours reading in this tranquil spot. Not sure on the comments re having no car as there is a free Adelaide Connector bus that stops about 3 mins walk away that takes in a huge loop of Adelaide into the CBD & beyond. A short walk to O'Connell St (4 mins) takes you to buses that will take you all over Adelaide for a few dollars & heaps of cafes, restaurants, & a supermarket. We caught a few taxis - $10 one way into the Casino & had a very pleasant short walk to the Adelaide Oval for the cricket.....we could of caught the bus but it was a gorgeous day for a walk. Front Office staff were very friendly & very helpful with our queries on the bus timetable, parking etc. The included continental breakfast was an unexpected pleasant surprise for the amount of tariff & basic but what do you expect for that kind of money?? - juices, cereal, toast, fruit & tea /coffee topped off a very pleasant experience.......Thankyou....we WILL be back!
