We stayed at the apartments just before Christmas. The location was great, just a block from the Adelaide Markets and a 10min walk to Rundle Mall and a comfortable walk to the Oval, Botanical Gardens and the University. The bed room was smallish and our apartment was opposite the lift. There was a window in the bedroom (which backed on the corridor) which allowed some light/noise from the the corridor but it was not too much of a problem. It was excellent having a washing machine and dryer in the apartment. Parking was $15/night and had to be prebooked, and is necessary as there is no street parking though there are some parking stations within walking distance. A lot of construction around the hotel, which went on 7 days a week, from quite early in the morning.

We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient and we were able to access public transport with ease.

These apartments were absolutely self contained and spacious. They were very central in the city and the price was quite affordable. The reception and staff were helpful and friendly at all times. I stayed in an apartment with two bedrooms but the sofa was also a pull out bed for any extras. The comfort, size and cleanliness of rooms, beds and apartment was definite value for money!! I enjoyed my stay in them and I will definitely be staying there again.

Tucked away in a side street the Franklyn Apartments didn't initially look impressive. However, the accommodation was excellent. We found that some apartments were occupied by long-term guests. As our own was furnished well enough to live in for long periods I was not surprised. The main room had a bar style well-equipped kitchen with good cooking facilities and a good size fridge freezer. There was a dining suite as well as chairs to relax in. The separate bedroom did not have a window to the outside and was not oversized, but was ample for our needs. The bathroom also had launderette facilities; both washer and dryer. The staff were excellent and the way the apartment was serviced each day was exceptional. There is also a cafe next to the foyer if required. Access to the city and the attractions were very good. I might have wished for a better view but we were certainly made to feel comfortable and welcome and would choose to stay there again should I ever get the chance.
