Booked and payed three weeks ago for two rooms for two adults and four children, after eight hours drive we arrived at the hotel. No Porter to collect and take our four bags to our rooms as I was on the phone out side the hotel, my wife was checking in for us not realising they were double charging us for our stay, one over the phone with credit card and second my wife paid on checking as well in cash!!!! As I was still on the phone my wife and kids had to carry our bags to our rooms and still had to wait for a hour for our kids room to be ready!!! After we have been waiting cramped in one room for a hour I questioned my wife about no porter and how unclean the hotel looked for a four and half star!!! She told me no hotel takes payment over the phone,, I told here why was I charge on my statement ... Dumb funded ... Well sir no hotel charges on booking !!!! And then I asked her were was the porter to collect our bags on arrival,
Lunch she said !!!! I laughed well on the spot I rang the Hilton and booked two rooms and payed and confirmed payment over the phone as standing in front of the manager ... She still looking at me Dum founded .. Then told her were checking out and a full refund on both payment , after she refunded me ... I told her that with that sort off customer service she has given as a manager of this hotel that's why she will never get a job at the Hilton .. Her smerky smile dropped.
I should have read trip advise reviews before booking to see I wasn't the only unhappy guest at this shocking, Dirty, un organised, bad management Hotel... So don't stay at the ridges it's crap.....
