The hotel is in a great position and the rooms are comfortable however it is just to noisy!!!

We stayed on the first floor and had the room opposite the lifts and laundry room so all night and early morning we heard the ding of the lifts and despite repeatedly closing the laundry door to keep the noise and very bright lighting from disturbing us 'someone' kept opening the door again. We also found we seemed to have many drains in the wall of our room as it sounded like people were showering 24/7. The smoke alarm lit up periodically throught out the day and night which at night lit the room up bright green. The bar fridge in the room was incredibly loud with one of our party turning it off at the wall due to the noise.

We stayed Thurs to Mon and fri and sat night was SO noisy with drunks stumbling back to their hotel rooms at all hours. One of our party had a room further around from the lifts but due to the hallways being open to the carpark they had a lot of street noise disturb them.

The tvs in the rooms only had basic free to air - no digital channels - and only 6 cable channels, 3 of which were sport.

The room key stopped working on our 3rd day and I had to go to reception to get it fixed and the very next morning it stopped working again and I had to get it fixed again. Two others in my party had the same thing happen with their rooms also.

All in all not a very family friendly hotel and due to the noise would definitely not stay at the Ibis again.
