We stayed at the Golden Gate for 7 nights. It was just ok. Like the other reviewer, we could definitely have booked somewhere better, and did during the second week of our stay. The apartment was spacious, and clean - if you didn't look to closely! Having said that, the location was great, just a short walk to the shops and I beach. Would I stay there again? No, I'd definitely look elsewhere.

We felt that we could have got better value for our money elsewhere.
The are definitely problems with these apartments.,
like $25 fee if the users of the apartments do not clean up properly.
and the $250 tow away fee if you accidentally park in someone else's car park.
Reception is only open between 9-12am on Saturday and you have to call them to arrange pick up of keys outside those hours.

On the plus side the apartments are really well located and the rooms are spacious and the views of the beach are awesome.
You can't beat the views of the sun rising out of the ocean.

Not a lot to say really. The apartments are pretty spacious, but the one I stayed in was 'tired' to be kind. Beds are comfy, bathrooms and kitchens not too icky, but it really could do with a bit of tlc. Nice views from upper floors, and pretty well located though.
