We have just spent another great family holiday in apartment 502 at Spectrum Holiday Apartments, right opposite the lovely Budds Beach in Surfers Paradise. Budds Beach is beautifully calm, with white sand - perfect for our family. Bumbles Cafe - one of the best cafés we found in Surfers – is just along the road, opposite the beach and the unit is only a 5 minute stroll to Surfers central shopping area. It’s beautifully quiet at night and the apartment has a glorious wide view of the beach and surrounding area. Apartment 502 has been refurbished to a quality standard and we found it perfectly clean with a good kitchen and laundry. Apartment 502 is in the deluxe category.

There is even free wifi in this unit (only in unit 502 because the owners have their own contract with Vodafone, which gives free availability to the occupants.) So, ask for this unit if you want the free wifi. We had an iPad and an HP notebook operating at the same time. It’s great for kids if the weather turns wet and also perfect for checking news and emails. The TV with Foxtel was great too.

There is a large, wide, covered deck, an excellent outdoor swimming pool (just renovated), bbq area, indoor heated pool and half tennis court. There is also covered security parking and a good lift service. Our 6 year old son loves the sandy beach and calm water.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we can’t wait to go back!

We have stayed at the Spectrum Apartments on the Gold Coast for now 6 years running and every stay gets better! The apartments are well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The management are absolutely lovely and make our stay carefree and easy. The apartment view of the sea or Budds beach are great and it is located close to the hub of Surfer's Paradise. Highly recommended!

we are just starting to settle down after a wonderful holiday at spectrum 22/12/11 until 06/01/12 this was our fourth stay at spectrum,we believe our stays get better and better each time as we can see the continuing improvements.wonderful hospitality,what a pleasant surprise to find a bottle of wine and chocolates in our suite on arrival,the location is great, only minutes from the main hub of everything and really great views of the Ocean and river.there is no doubt in our minds where we will be spending our next holiday.

We are a family of 4 and first stayed at Spectrum in April 2009. We stayed for a week and had a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment and we couldn't have been more pleased with the cleanliness and facilities. The kids love the tennis and pool. Spectrum is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs and bars. Easy access to transport to the theme parks. The lovely girl at reception organized all our tickets to the attractions and theme parks and it was sooo nice to relax in the spa after a day's walking... Later in the year we went back to Queensland for a party at Coolangatta and opted to stay at Spectrum again even though we had to travel half an hour to the party and back. In 2010 we visited Queensland again for a wedding and also stayed at Spectrum - we have our favourite room now - 1301. We've just returned from our most recent stay at Spectrum and, as always, never disappointed! I tell all our friends and family to try Spectrum so I thought I'd write a quick review and tell everyone else.
