I had been to the Gold Coast before, so I knew what to organize and where all my activities were and how to get around. Had previously stayed at a more expensive hotel near by, but found The Marrakesh to be better value and a better location.

The Gold Coast has a great bus network and with a bus stop at the front of the hotel I could go to any shopping center or attraction I wanted.

The hotel is close to the beach and has a secluded pool with spa, perfect for relaxing after a day of sight seeing.

The rooms are large and spacious with lots of amenities. The building is well designed and the balconies are perfectly situated for quiet relaxation. The weather was moderate during our stay. I can't imagine hot weather being a problem with this hotel. Air conditioning is available if required at all.

We had no trouble with any exterior noises or loud guests.

I only wish we could have stayed longer to see more attractions.

A shopping/restaurant hub is close by, but not too close to be affected by any crowds or traffic noise.

We had a very relaxing stay, and the resort was just what we needed. The resort was quiet, and in a good location, close to the beach. The pools and spa were wonderful, and the 1 bedroom apartment was clean and well equipped...dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, good size fridge, and a sunny balcony to enjoy the views from morning till night. On the down side, the bed was very firm and a little uncomfortable and the pillows were very hard, and it would have been nicer to have full sets of matching crockery and cutlery, but overall our stay was very good.

we really enjoyed our stay at Marrakech, its is a fab place. The apartments are very clean and provided us with everything we needed for a holiday. the staff at reception are great and smile alot. they saved us heaps of time because they know lots about bus buses, attractions and theme parks. they even booked our tickets for us.the food is really cool in the kesh cafe and we really enjoyed the breakfasts. the only only thing that seemed odd was that the chef spends alt of time sitting at the bar reading newspapers.

stay at marrakesh, you wont be sorry :)

A great place close to Surfers, full amenities- especially Air Con. Safe to leave your teenagers while you explore the night life.
