Lovely staff, great location, an enjoyable stay, the pool, spa, sauna, tennis court were all excellent. Our room was in excellent condition and very clean. Impressed by the balconies off most rooms and not just the loungeroom. Thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely book again.

Spent five nights in two bedroom self contained apartment from 17th December 2011. Excellent customer service. Comfortable & clean rooms with excellent views (3 patios). Kitchen well appointed. Fast lifts. Pool, Spa and BBQ area well kept and pleasure to use, note this area closes at 9pm and you may be locked in if tardy. Coffee shops and restaurants nearby, genuine Italian Restaurant on same block (recommended). A/C not guarenteed master bedroom wasn't but others were. It was interesting to compare Longbeach to Peninsula (see previous review) both in the Breakfree chain. I like both Hotels, however the Longbeach for me was slightly superior in almost every area. Peninsula is two blocks closer to Cavill Ave for me its only win.

Stayed at Breakfree a few years ago in a 3 bedroom unit which was to die for, beautiful marble floors, spotlessly clean, well appointed, just luxury!. We stayed again in June and after our last stay were left a wee bit dissapointed with room, in all fairness we did book on a special and it was a standard room. Our room had amazing views, they are 180 degree views of the ocean/surfers paradise which was fabulous, however our room was in need of a little tlc, the paint was drabby there were a lot of marks and gouges from the walls as well as it seemed a bit dirty, however this could just be because it was a bit older. The resort itself was great with 2 pools, one indoor and one out and a nice bbq area. Great location walking distance to Surfers. Good spot for families.

Had a short honeymoon here in April. Had a two bedroomed apartment which had lots of balconies, lots of sun, aircon, spotlessly clean, lovely furniture.Pools , gymnasium and barbecue area large and spotlesslessly clean as well. Was under new management at the time and both he and the staff were eager to please. 2 minutes to patrolled beach, 3-4 mins to heart of surfers. Fantastic views. Will rebook here next trip to Surfers. Jan. W
