Booked online ......didn't know there was a massive backpackers next door....PARTIES every night, then as well as other people staying inprivately managed apartments grrrrr. the noise was absolutely terrible every single night.the manager of this place needs to go to a hospitality course,his manner is quite blunt and to the point of rude,but i don't think it is on purpose, its just him, but he is in a hospitality industry so he does not come across as very nice.
The rooms are a little dated, could do with a paint, i wanted to wash everything, was a little grubby and old.The duvet cover was stained big time, i took it off and stuck it in the wardrobe.I did mention this but the manager didn't seem to care...actually i don't think he likes his job very much :(
Really wish we could have left.

I recently Stayed at Surfers Trade winds for 5 nights at a very good rate. I must admit that I was a little afraid of booking this hotel after reading the reviews on this site. I must say that I find them all to be untrue! This hotel has everything that you would ever need, its faculties are spotless, it’s a good location and the room was great, it was a renovated 2 bedroom apartment with a large flat screen TV, new furniture and comfy beds. I had friends come and visit and they were all amazed on how nice this hotel was.

I must say that trade winds isn’t a 5 star hotel but I have stayed in many high end hotels and trade winds beats a lot of them. I defiantly recommend this hotel and advise readers to ignore some of the other reviews as they are extremely exaggerated.

Thankyou to the onsite management, they were always friendly and helpful and they do a great job at making this hotel a professionally run hotel.

Manager creepy, with cameras over looking swimming pool! (and god knows where else.)
Rooms very outdated and dirty. extremely noisy youth hostel next door, parties to all hours. Felt unsafe. wouldn't stay again.

We had a great holiday at surfers tradewinds, manager was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and I would recommend it to everyone.
