Arrived at the hotel to find only one of our bookings had been found, we had made a booking for an extra night as we arrived early, but had a previous booking for 13 nights and this was the booking that could not be found. we were told to we could check in but might have to move rooms the next day. first problem was that i needed the internet, you can pay a ridiculous amount of money for one night or pay for 7 nights and make a great saving, i was told i could not do the 7 day internet package in case i had to switch hotel rooms. Also during our stay, we were stuck with just one elevator in use, as repairs were being carried for the whole 2 weeks we were there. I don't think this was a good idea seeing as the hotel caters for alot of guests which at points had me waiting at least 10 minutes for an Lift. The room was nice but did not think it had that 4/5* feeling to it. What i can say about this hotel is that the staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was an okay hotel but i don't think i will be telling friends to stay here.
Room Tip: Book via the website, much cheaper deals.

Thank you for your review following your stay with us. I can see that you stayed back with us September 2011, wow how time flies as we are now in February 2012.
I do apologise that you booking could not be located & that you were informed that you may have to move rooms mid stay. If the hotel would have done everything in its power to keep you in the same room & I am sure that is what happened in the end, but I understand that you did not need the additional worries or moving rooms as you were on Holidays.
In 2011 the hotel went a major lift refurbishment, this was a 26 week operation 2 years in the planning. These 26 weeks that were chosen were the quietest all year and I offer my apologies again that this has coincided with your Vibe experience. There were however 2 lift’s always operational as the lift around near our Pool Bar was in service 24/7 for our guests. I am happy to report that these lifts are now smoother & faster than ever, even receiving positive comments on this very website.
I am glad that you have posted your experience as it allows me to answer some of the points that are mention in your review and hopefully with the improvements that have been made in the last 5 months our amazing Vibe Hotel team can welcome you back again.
