We were so excited to be staying close to centre of surfers with cafes and supermarket just outside the door only to find most of these have closed so lacks atmosphere.Stayed for 2 weeks and had 4 nights undisturbed sleep.We were ready to shift out because of rude selfish hand clapping,yelling, chanting,door banging, drunken people in next unit partying untill 5am on there balcony night after night.FINALLY HAD ENOUGH! Had to go out on balcony and tell them to shut up to cheers of others.Reported them to security and problem was solved short term.Also noise from street all hours of the night with thousands of drunks having a good time with no respect for others.Its ok for them because they sleep during day.If you are looking for good sleep stay away from this area.Have learnt hard expensive lesson.

We stayed at Circle for 1 week at the end of Jannuary 2012.

I booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms ocean view apt through an agent. The room is average: old and tired furnitures, very very basic kichen appliances, but it does have a nice view. Later I booked another 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apt for my relatives, this time through Mantra Circle, end up he was given a spacious 3 bedroom 2bathroom with huge balcony and beautiful view , so this compensated for the fact that he couldn't checkin until 4pm.

About the facities, all the pools + spa are outdoor, couldn't imagine how the guests can enjoy a swim during winter or bad weather, the glass roof over the shaded pool are badly broken, and they didn't even light up the lights along the wall of this pool at night, make it look quite boring. The steam and sauna rooms next to the lagoon swimming pool were always busy. Also the giant screen didn't work and IGA shop was closed make the "circle" area look gloomy and deserted, specially at night time.

Overall it has good location, above average facilities, (but we have stayed at Cheron Renaisance before and we could say that Chevron has better location and facilities) rooms can be good or bad depend on your luck, it's still a nice place to stay but don't think we'll be back next time.

After looking for some accomadation, we came across Mantra circle on cavill, the pictures on the website looked AMAZING! We were so excited to get there.
We were in a 2 bedroom ocean view spa apartment... we checked in, went up to our room and i was so dissapointed!
The carpets wernt vacummed, there was crap all over the floor, the blinds were broken so we couldnt open them up, the air con wasnt working, the tap in our ensuite was broken, fridge light was broken, no soap, and the furniture was all ripped and stained. Everything looked so dirty. I went straight down to reception and told them, they were good about it, thay fixed everything that day, but you'd think theyd fix it before guests arrive. I went down to coles and bought domestos n spray n wipe n gave everything a good clean because it was just yuck!
The air con didnt work properly over our entire stay which made trying to sleep very uncomfortable.
The location of the hotel was excellent, buses right out front, close to shops, and the staff were very helpful.
I would stay there again but when booking i would tell them about the dirty room we had and request a better room and make sure its CLEAN!

I could not flaw this amazing hotel in the slightest! We got a great rate and were blown away with the amazing views.. The location could not be better! Down the elevator and you are right in the heart of surfers, close to shops, clubs and restaurants. I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Surfers and this is definately the best of them all!
