My wife and I stayed here five nights in December 2011. Anne welcomed us warmly and led us to our room. She spent a good deal of time explaining the amenities of the resort and showing us where things where on a town map and left us a few brochures of day trips. The room itself was without a doubt the best room we had during out 3 week trip throughout Australia. It was clean and quiet and spacious with all the things we needed (pots, pans, coffee maker, silverware, plastic cups, free wifi). But even better than the room was Anne and the services she provided for us during our stay. I probably spent at least a half hour every morning or evening talking with her about the area, weather, trips, food, excursions, other places in Australia we planned to go, just about everything. In addition she helped us plan 3 day trips (two different trips to the Reef and one to Daintree - go with Nicholas he's the best). She would look at the weather and suggest the best days to go and then set it all up with the outfit and everything was billed through Freestyle so we didn't have to worry about payment or waste time. Another thing, my wife has a severe peanut allergy. We told Anne and she communicated this to the tour groups and helped negotiate special lunches. Truly a remarkable level of service! The pool area is fantastic with a bbq that is available to guests. I would go back there every year if time and budget would allow. Thanks so much, Freestyle.
