I love this place! Having stayed in 2010, there was no other option when we knew we would be in Port Douglas during January 2012,it HAD to be the Peninsula or nothing!!!
Beautiful location,beautiful rooms,great service and food,and the type of attention to detail not often found at other establishments. Great to see welcoming,familiar faces again,and my only regret is....that we couldn't have stayed longer!!!!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. The personal touch was evident in everything they did. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. We went for a walk on Christmas day, and when we got back there was a wrapped present waiting for us on the kitchenette counter. Little things like that are really touching. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Sheryn and Phil were excellent..always trying to accommodate with requests and helping out. I, in particular, remember their help with my internet service and they even waived the internet charge for the entire 4 day stay as it was a bad connection for just 1 particular day. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay there on my next visit. Courteous staff and good breakfast. Excellent location, right on the beach.

The location, staff, cleanliness and overall ambience would be hard to beat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything from breakfast to our late dinner for the curry night was perfect. Can't praise this hotel enough. Small and personal. Staff are amazingly warm unlike some of the bigger places we've stayed at. Beach across the road but also a beautiful small pool on the property. We will definitely be back one day.
