“Ideal location, clean accommodation with terrific staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2010

Stayed here for 4 nights at end of east coast road trip enjoyed every minute. The apartment was very clean, large & was equipped with all we needed including laundry facilities. Only met 2 of the 3 co-managers, Eric & Selwyn, but they couldn't have been more helpful. When my car battery ran flat Eric used his car and a set of jump leads to get me started, not once but twice.
Would thoroughly recommend these apartments to anyone hoping to stay in Cairns

“A great place to be in the centre of everything”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2010

We loved our time here because the service was excellent, the room was clean and spacious and the location was so convenient to everything. The only problem we had was that by being so central it was also noisy at night. We ended up wearing earplugs and then we were able to sleep. If you are into nightlife it is perfect because you can walk to some great nightclubs and dance the night away.

Shopping is very convenient with Woolworths accross the road and the markets within easy walking distance. We particularly loved buying fruit and veg at Rusty's market. Buses to anywhere in Cairns and even to Kuranda leave from outside front door. We only needed to hire a car for a couple of days because most places were accessable by foot or bus. There was good free undercover car parking provided. Inn Cairns staff are very helpful with booking hire cars and tours.

The esplanade is a short walk away and every evening there are free fitness activities to join in on, the Lagoon to swim in and it is beautiful for an evening walk to see the boats come in and look out for birds, crabs and mud skippers on the mud flats. Good restaurants are also within easy walking distance.

We stayed for two weeks and enjoyed a wonderful holiday.

“Ideal CBD location close to all transport, shops, restaurants & waterfront”

Very friendly and helpful reception staff, located by bus transit centre and opposite the best supermarket in town for those who prefer self-catering in the good kitchen facilities provided. Spacious lounge with a flat-screen TV plus a CRT TV in the bedroom, both with Sky channels. We had a room at the rear of the building as the buses, bars and clubs nearby do generate noise. We were comfortable and slept well so we have no complaints.

“Excellent value for money!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2010

I have just returned from a 7 night stay at this apartment. It is located smack bang in the middle of the CBD which proved to be very handy. All 3 of the managers were extremely professional - there was nothing they wouldn't do. We were provided with tour brochures, complimentery beach towels and their recommendations as to where to wine and dine.

The rooms were amazing for the mere $115AUD per night we paid. They were large, spacious and immaculately clean. Our room on the 2nd floor had a full sized kitchen and laundry which was very handy! Alot of the below reviews refer to noise being a problem. We didn't experience any that was too great to handle.Of course, being in the main street it can get a little noisy at times if you have your balcony door open. This was rarely the case with us as we had it closed and the air con on for most of our trip.

I would without a doubt stay here again. Thank you Selwyn, Eric and Jonathan for a wonderful trip!

“Perfect choice of Accommodation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2010

My Husband and I stayed for 9 nights at Inn Cairns and really enjoyed our time there,
Selwin, Eric and John, the Managers were great so helpful and friendly nothing was a trouble for them.
Everything about Inn Cairns was excellent.
Location was wonderful right in the heart of everything, the Apartments were of a high standard, spotless, and loved the big fluffy white towels brought in each day.
If ever we go to Cairns will certainly stay here again and have recomended it to friends.
Barbara and Brian.
