We recently stayed at Inn Cairns for 3 nights. The hotel was clean, well-maintained and the customer service was excellent. The rooms were very spacious and we appreciated having accommodations that were apartment-style for our day excursions. The location on Lake Street was good and right across the street from a Woolworths grocery store.

What a gem. Was a bit concerned initally by the location, in the heart of the centre, next to a Gentlemens Club and Tattoo Parlour, but what a find. Beautifully equipped clean apartment. Fully equipped kitchen, separate bedroom, lounge with TV, large bathroom with separate laundry facilities, ironing board, the lot. Under used and lovely pool area with BBQ facilities, which we used nearly every night and had the pool to ourselves. John and Eric the managers could not have been more helpful. Would definately recommend and return. When we got used to the location, it was in fact a plus, right opposite supermarket and bottle store and convenient for bus pick up for tours etc.(wasnt noisey either!!)

The hotel photos are a little misleading as it only shows the upper floors of the building where the hotel is located. What is not shown is that the hotel is bascially above a "strip club" or Gentleman's Club as it is called. It was a little uncomfortable for my daughter and me when coming back late to the hotel.

The hotel is right on the transit mall so it made catching a bus or taxi very easy and it was walking distance to the esplanade and shore as well as the museum and shops, however I would take my chances elsewhere were I ever to visit Cairns again

The staff was very helpful and we appreciated all they helped us with, but really they were fighting an uphill battle. The musty, moldy smell of the hotel was enough to get us thinking about going somewhere else, but we toughed it out since it was only for 3 nights. The kitchen was a wonderful addition as were the complimentary shopping bags!

Our group of 4 adults rented two apartments side by side, for a family event in Cairns. This was the second time I have stayed at Inn Cairns.
The apartments are not new, but very clean and well presented. Everything we needed was there, including washing machine and dryer in each apartment. Underground parking is provided for no extra charge, a bonus because you need a car in Cairns if you are there for any length of time.
We chose to look out over the street. This was a bit noisy, because the buses leave from that area, but interesting, always something to see. You should choose to look out the back, over the pool and b-b-q area if you need more quiet..
Cheap as chips, and the location meant that we could easily wander around the town. Only 5 mins walk to the Casino and Cairns central shopping mall.
Staff are very friendly, relaxed and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
