Beautifully situated on the Esplanade, Coral Towers is the ideal location for a wonderful holiday.It is a photographer's paradise. Looking out from your balcony the view of palm trees against the everchanging sky and blue of the Coral sea never fails to delight. The Esplanade itself can keep one busy for days on end with opportunity for a good walk down to the pier and laguna, running, cycling or just strolling. There are cafes, interesting shops, outdoor gyms and a skateboarding park. For kids the playgrounds are wonderful. Any birdwatcher would be entranced by over 200 different varieties of birds; the colourful lorakeets fly past Coral Towers regularly at about 5.30 each afternoon on their way to their nesting sites in the town centre..

The apartments are all that one could want. Beautifully and comfortably furnished and impeccably clean, they provide a comfortable and convenient base. Sandy and Tony are constantly friendly and helpful and a fund of knowledge about places to go and things to do.

Although it is useful to have a car, taxis are reasonable and arrive within minutes of request; the local bus service is also good with regular services to the other beaches.
The swimming pool and jacuzzi are pleasant and refreshing to return to after a day in the sun.

I can't recommend Coral Towers highly enough. This was my fourth visit and I am looking forward to my next.

This was a comfortable property although somewhat dated. We stayed in the penthouse and loved the views of the Coral Sea and Cairns. The woman that runs the place was very friendly and helpful in both booking the unit and then upon arrival. She did not simply refer us to a tour group to see the reef but discussed what several different outfits had to offer and in doing so helped us pick one that suited our family dynamic. The hotel is on the north side of downtown, and it is a only a short drive to a number of restaurants or grocers or you can take a walk down the Esplanade which runs along the shore. There were a few minor issues (e.g. no deadbolt on front door and some mildew in shower) but overall the positives clearly outweighed these minor issues.

From the outside the building and surrounds are showing their age but our apartment had being completely refurbished. About 15-20 min walk to the centre of Cairns but the entire walk is along the waterfront and very pleasant. Staff friendly and helpful. Great kitchen so you can save money by preparing your own meals. Ensuite bathroom was tiny but adequate. Only downside was the dirty sofa.

Great location overlooking the ocean! The staff were very accommodating to our needs. We stayed at 5 star hotels during our trip to Australia and the room and location of this hotel was WAY better than those hotels. More like an apartment than a hotel, has all the amenities to stay for a long-term vacation: microwave, coffee maker, washer/dryer( they even give you detergent),and a full size fridge.

They have a free private parking garage that is gated and secure. Walking distance from the main promenade, even though we opted to drive back and forth. I will only stay at this location when staying in Cairns! Short day trip to Daintree even though I'd recommend staying in Daintree for a few days to fully explore the area. Highly recommended!
