Excellent location right in the middle of the Esplanade. Friendly family-run service too.

Rooms could do with a refurb ..tatty furniture and didn't feel too clean, although bed linen was clean and crisp.

This hotel / hostel is nothing amazing, however it is simple clean and cheap.
I had my own room with a double bed for only $50 - this is good if you haven't got much money but could do with your own space and a big bed to yourself for a night.
The room didnt have a tv or aircon but had a ceiling fan and your own sink and mirror etc.
The facilities are all there. It has its own little pool, tv lounge, wifi internet, washing facilities and tour booking desk etc.
It is also in a great location right next to the Esplanade pool and the night & food market

This motel is located in the beach esplanade.there are many restaurants, bars and shops just next to it. The esplanade is really the place where all the happening is in the evenings. The beach is just opposite to the hotel and you can go for a walk or run in the walkway along the beachside.Or just sit and watch the views. Also large public swimming pool is very near.

If you are planning a reef trip or trip to Kuranda the location great for those also. The marina and terminal is within few minutes walk also the railway station and main bus stop is not too for a away.

Stayed in a motel room which was nice for that price and also clean.Rooms include shower,Tv ad fridge. Cleaners come every day.The Wifi is not free but there are some places such as McDonalds very near by where you can use Wifi for free.The Bellwiev also has shared rooms for backpackers. There is also kitchen nad swimming pool on the premises.

The hotel staff at the front desk is friendly and they will help you advise you hot to get around in the city.Also basicly all the tours such as trips to the Great barrier reef can be booked directly from the hotel and you might get some discoutn also.there are also many different procures available.Hotel staff will also help you getting bus or taxi transport to airport.

Overall really nice place to stay with good location and clean rooms.

so outdated it is comical. It's like walking into the 1950s. If you don't mind sleeping on a bed that has a number 6 written in marker on the headboard then stay here. This hotel is right on the Esplanade so it gets away with not updating or fixing (broken towel rack on floor of bathroom) rooms. Front desk people were helpful. We stayed there one night which was enough. You definitely get noise from street. I think you can do better in Cairns (like not stay in Cairns at all- think party central.)
