We stayed in our own van with an ensuite which was very basic no shelves. Sites are very small so once setup their is nowhere to park your car. Lucky it wasnt busy so everyone parked in the sites adjacent. This caravan park has a restuarant on site which is convenient but not cheap. There is also a little convenient shop in case you have forgotten something. Facilities are good especially for young children.

Our 4 year old told us it was the best holiday ever on day two of our stay, and it seriously was! The entire resort was spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful (they actually cared!!). We hired a tropical ensuite cabin and it was more than enough for the four of us. We were situated near prime play areas, and even so, the cabin was remarkably quiet.
There was so much for us to do as a family (the splash waterpark was the clear winner with our two little ones) and we were very impressed with the free pancake breakfast held while we were there. The kids were given souvenirs (which they loved) and we had the opportunity to mingle and chat with other guests (the name labels with where we were from was a great idea).
The only downside was that our stay was so short! We have told all our friends and we are already saving for our next stay, which will be a much longer one!

Wow wow wow!! We had such an amazing time here!! We stayed whilst touring the country and loved it do much we drive back again. They were amazingly accommodating when our scuba tour got cancelled due to bad weather and found room for us to stay a couple more nights even though they were very busy. The pools incredible and the pancakes are amazing, I still dream about them now! I could quite happily live here! Xx

We stayed here as recommended by our friends in cairns (they stayed there too). So much to do!! We have small children that spent their time on the slides and wading pools. They loved the playground & bike track. Wonderful facilities! We stayed in a holiday unit which was basic, not much room for the port a cot. Our friend stayed in the tropical cabin which also suits older kids 5 and up. Overall we loved it. We won't stay anywhere else in cairns!!

I didn't realise that caravan parks were great alternative for families! As most of Big 4 parks, this one was excellent to entertain the kids. However, you cant' expect servise like hotels. They don't service the rooms daily and only change the towels every 3 days. Otherwise, there is no problems!! All the staff were professional and had great knowledge with the tours/bookings!
