The Cairns Colonial Club resort is situated away from the city centre but close enough to be there in 10mins. It is about 10 mins from the airport which is also convenient. It's best features would be the swimming pools, guest lounge, dining options and convenience of catching a tour bus from the Resort. Staff are friendly. The suggestion I made to them was to give the outside walls, paths and verandas a good clean. The rooms themselves are clean. I enjoyed my stay there.

What an amazing hotel!

Check In was simply great, brilliant receptionist who told us everything we needed to know & answered any questions we had. Other receptionists equally amazing with helping us find & booking trips for us.

Regular bus service into the centre of Cairns, well worth the cost of the 3 day pass.

The room was absolutely amazing, comfy comfy bed, clean & tidy bathroom, seperate living area with dining table & fully equipped kitchen.

Spent a day at the main pool & had it all to ourselves for the majority of the day, we were soo lucky!

I would definitely stay at this hotel again & again & recommend it to anyone, the staff make it so relaxed & friendly, thanks!

Hotel is great value for money ,friendly staff ,it's abit far from the city but you enjoy the peace and quiet. We will be going back again .We had the room with the family room we found it large enough for two adults and two teenagers.It is a very large resort .with three pools to choose from.

Everything was as we needed. Rooms were clean, coffee & tea all full. Blanket was used at night from the cupboard. The only improvement would be because my wife has MS the walk to our room was quite long for her, it would be much easier for her if we had rooms that were closer to the reception area.
