We stayed for a week in a one bedroom and found for the money and location it was a fantastic venue. Easy to get to transport vie river or bus.
Yes it does not have a reception desk manned like a hotel but when we needed the manager she was available...for us it was perfect and with no manned desk felt less like a hotel and more like a home!!!
For some this is good and for some not...
We will definitely say again...

Nice two bedroom apartment in an excellent location in Newfarm. Very close to cafes, shops and a great park. However, some of the stuff (plates, dishes etc) were a bit dirty. Reception is not always available either. We had two young children and it was perfect for our needs. Bit of a mixed bag. Great in someways and average in other ways. We would stay there again.

This has been my second stay at the powerhouse apartments. The rooms are always spotless and the managers are always efficent in responding to any requests. The other bonus is the location, close to the night life in the valley, close to the river and near the weekend markets. Would definitely recommend this accomodation to singles, couples and families. Have stayed a number of times now for business. Formerly would stay in the city but found the Powerhouse Apartments and Terraces a welcome change to hotel accommodation. Good central location if you need to do business in Brisbane and very comfortable for longer stay. The staff are very efficient and helpful and would definitely recommend the complex highly.
