the carpets so dirty our kids, clothes and feet were black, the bathroom which was off the bedroom stunk ? blocked drains??? the microwave sounded like it was about to explode and very tiny! phone had to be changed 3 times before it worked

This motel was very dirty, full of small cockroaches that ran all over the kitchen. We could not use the kitchen as it was so badly infested which we did not discover until night time. When we were so tired we just wanted to go to sleep. Sheets clean. Bathroom had leaking toilet , water all over the floor, cockroaches crawling around on the tiles. Did not even use the shower! Couldn't wait to get out of there. When I complained was told with a blank expression from the lady behined the reception desk that she was "so sorry" and she would "have a look". I told her it was dirty, smelly and full of cockroaches. She didn't seem to care at all, no refund offered!
The road was very noisy and some people in a neighbouring house had a loud, swearing domestic argument at 5am on Sunday morning. There is also a mens hostel a couple of doors away. Would not recommend this place for ANYONE to stay in. TOTALLY AND UTTERLY DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed at Annerley twice, mostly because it is close to the competition venue. The first time, October 2008, we ended up in a very small room and with our sports gear and luggage, it was cramped. More recently, we ended up in a large room at the very back of the hotel, a huge improvement to last year. Both times it was quiet, no noise from the other guests nor could we hear traffic noise. In general, the rooms are pretty shabby, but the people at the hotel were always very helpful.

owned by rude chinese women, rooms smelly and old, hot water works only sometimes, every room has something wrong with it, next door had no telephone, she is very greedy for money, she wont tell you you have to check out by 10 am if you stay after that she has a big list of charges.
swimming pool dirty you wouldnt swim in it.
