Considering this place is within walking distance of the train station & in the middle of the city, it's really not that pricey. It's not backpacker-budget friendly though either. The room was small for US standards, but there was enough room for the double bed plus a desk/sitting area next to the bathroom and a nightstand. There was free wi-fi (although we couldn't get it to work but a few minutes at a time) and the staff was very friendly. There were also computers you could use in the basement behind the kitchen. Chinatown was just down the street and we also were able to walk across the bridge to Kangaroo point. They also let us check-in very early in the morning and held our baggage for us the day we checked out until we were ready to leave for the airport (early afternoon.) Oh - one thing I will say... it was VERY QUIET!!!! Our room had a brick-wall view but absolutely no traffic noise - it was wonderful!!!
