Avoid this place at all cost. Like most airport hotels/motels in Brisbane it is quite far from the airport, we were therefore specifically looking for a motel which would offer a shuttle service. Unfortunately the meaning of shuttle is lost to the operators of this motel. There is no transport to from the airport so add a $30 taxi trip to the cost of your stay. We arrived after 21:00 so the motel was not manned, you need a special code to get in!!! The room was dismal, mosquitos were breeding in the toilet, and the bed linen was damp. In the morning an old bus arrived to transport us and the other grumbling guests to the airport. Next time I will spend more to stay at the Novotel, which is a lot closer to the airport.

We over nighted at this hotel before a flight the next day. It was quiet, clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. We wanted somewhere convenient to the airport for an early departure and also good value. The free shuttle bus to the airport was a definite bonus and he arrived right on time. We went down to the waterfront dining area for dinner which is only about a 5-10 minute walk away and there are plenty of choices for eating out. Overall, we were very satisfied with this hotel.

I booked this motel in February and was told that we would be pick-up from the airport. My flights changed and I contacted the motel to inform them of this only to be told that they would not pick us up now. This was because it was not written beside my booking. So now I suffer because they did not do their job properly. She says that they changed this policy in June - well hello my booking was in February. Their sister motel is honoring bookings made before June but not this one. Helen (Manager) rules apply and she is not very helpful.

Helen was not very accommodating and could not seem to understand that this was beyond my control as the airline changed my flights.

I sure hope the stay is better than the booking process but really it can not be nay worse.

I have had to reconfirm everything with my booking so that i have it in writing.

Customer service so far - absolutely nil.

Customer service at this place is shocking. The manager of the Motel said it was "too bad" and there was nothing she could do because we wanted to change the booking date due to cancelled flight. She then told me that there would be a cancellation fee of $25.00 and charged me the full rate without telling me. As a customer I would not expect to be spoken like that ever! If you're looking for good customer service don't go here.
