This only redeeming feature of this place is it's location. We needed something very close to Brisbane International Airport. I do not recommed it, especially if you have small children, I had to wash my baby's bottles in the dirty communal laundry downstairs.
It's noisy, the showers were almost unusable - barely any water pressure and then either hot or cold, not warm.
Beds are horrible, especially the bunk. I thnk it's a dump. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere with some form of service and quality!!

Only stayed here as it was close to airport and had late flight arriving and leaving. Arrived at 11pm, had problems w self checkin, had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to our matchbox of a room w' luggage in tow!. Aircon set to minimum cooling, took a while to sort it out but we got there finally. Tried to open window, no screens of course! Requested ground floor room before return flight, still no screens. ( so not a safety issue ) Pillows an inch thick, slight exageration but you get the idea! One towel each, no facewasher, no bathmat. For $99 could have found much roomier, more comfortable accomodation close to airport.

Stayed here for 4 hour sleep on a 12 hour transit stop in Brisbane. Would have been quieter to sleep in a train station! Noisy house keeping staff - people banging and slamming doors. Room was horrible - was fine with it being small as we werent there for long - what I didnt like was it was so tired and dirty. The shower and toilet are in the same room and when someone has had a shower the whole room is saturated - make sure you read the signs and shut the bathroom door. Glad it was only a short stay and really didnt get much sleep at all!

Ok, i have stayed in many formule one hotels around Australia.
We were warned when we booked about construction noise. We were also warned about it when checking in.

I thought ok, i am not around in the day big deal. BUT they never mentioned the noise at night!
Without a doubt after 30 years of travelling this planet including living next to an airport for two years this was by the far the noisiest place i have ever stayed at.
The TRAINS the TRAINS!!!!! So noisy is was hard to comprehend just what they were. I just assumed it had to be trains.
