Located close to the Brisbane Airport, this is a budget hotel that suits transit passengers. It is an economical hotel with tariff being in the region of 100AUD. As is to be expected, the rooms are basic, not luxurious! There is a medium (queen) size bed, with another bunk bed above. There is a flat panel TV with limited channels. The bathroom is small, but serves the purpose for transit travelers. Both the room and the bathroom are tidy and clean. Toiletries are poor quality and I preferred to use my own. There is no traffic noise, but those staying in rooms facing the expressway may need to check this out.
The entrance area has a small breakfast buffet for about 7AUD, but serves only cold fare. There are dispensers for microwavable food and another for drinks. The area also has a couple of internet consoles that one can use with coins.
Malls/shopping is 5 minutes taxi ride towards the airport, but there is almost nothing available nearby in case one needs a snack/meal, since the hotel is in an industrial area. Pizzas and Chinese food an be ordered for delivery at the hotel.
The staff is very courteous. I didn't ask his name, but the male receptionist (there was only one- others were ladies during my stay- was exceptionally helpful!
Room Tip: Check the ones facing the expressway for noise before you finalize.
