Staff were great and its a nice boutique hotel. Location is good for getting to the city (get the ferry - get a gold card otherwise its a bit dear one way) but at the same time being away from the hustle and bustle.

Rooms are a little on the small side and not a fan of the plastic toilet seats. For a boutique hotel they could do a little better but thats the only negative. Maybe it was just our room.

Has great parking (secure if you want), pool is nice and as said the staff David and Wendy were lovely. Really go out of there way for you.

This hotel is a stones throw away from the Story Bridge Hotel at Kangaroo Point across the river from the Brisbane CBD. We stayed there recently and found it to be a nice place well managed and generally a pleasant location. If you want to go to the city you can catch a ferry or walk over on the Story Bridge. For a drink the Story Bridge Hotel is across the street. There are few restaurants nearby within a minutes walk, or you can go the the city where there are many to choose from.

Overall worth recommending this hotel.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip and found the room to be clean although quite small, particularly the bathroom. However, this is only a minor issue as the stay was pleasant and the staff were very helpful.

The location is good with a decent pub and bottle shop across the street under the Storey Bridge. I had a room facing the pub and the bridge but didn't have any noise issues unless I had the door to the balcony open.

There are some good places to eat not far away (including the pub) and the location is convenient. I would certainly stay there again.

I booked this hotel after buying a scoopon for $99 online. I called up the hotel to redeem my scoopon and told the receptionist i wanted to stay in brisbane for 4 nights not 1. I asked if i should buy 3 further scoopons and she told me that i didn't have to and that she would book me in for 4 nights under the same offer if i paid the hotel direct. So all was confirmed and we arrived at the hotel last week. The man at reception was a bit unhappy that we were staying for 4 nights under the scoopon offer and said that we shouldn have been, he started telling us that weekdays are his busiest time and that he usually sells rooms for $170 a night during the week.....I had to explain what the receptionist had told me....
We had to ask for the wine that was advertised on the scoopon as well. It was advertised as being dished out on arrival...

The room was basic but nice and the hotel is in a fantastic location!

On day 3 we were awoken by drilling going on in the carpark directly under our room at 7.45am. My partner went to reception and was told there was nothing that they could do (carpark is part of hotel) and that it would end in 3 minutes. It was still going on when i went for a run at 9am.

Our last morning at the hotel we were awoken by the same drilling at the same time. Its not constant but in random bursts. Not nice when your on a relaxing break away from the mines in north west WA!
