• Travel in Dec 2008 for my sister-in-law graduation ceremony

• The front desk is friendly and helpful.
• We rented a 2-bedroom Apartment. The room is decent and toilet is clean. Spacious living room and fully equip kitchen facility. We had a faulty electric kettle and it was change on the spot, no questions ask.
• The location is easy to find. Easy access to Brisbane town with a car.

Overnight stay in a 3 bedroom apartment which had main bathroom and an ensuited bedroom. Two TVs, good sized kitchen, clean and tidy throughout. Very quiet, no noises from other apartments or the street. Minutes drive to the city along Coronation Drive. Nice area. Impressed. Would stay again.

Toowong Villas is one of the few fully self contained apartments in Brisbane that offers 3 bedrooms, hence we chose to stay here. We were impressed by the gardens and surrounds, the cleanliness, and most of the facilities, including the sandpit which kept the kids entertained.

However, two nights out of the six we had very disrupted sleeps, hearing new arrivals at around 130am who made A LOT of noise, and didn't settle until around 430am. And so we were disappointed that we didn't get as much rest as we were wanting, especially for my husband, who was there on business. This means a lot when you have young children, and can't have a nap during the day to make up for it!

It's time the units were updated as well, with exposed brick, lots of condensation in the bathroom (with a roof that looks like it's about to cave in) etc. But that is why it's good value I suppose!

We might have turned up on the wrong day but the unfriendly service "I don't want to know ... fire hazard ..." did not improve through our two days. The single-room apartment was very dated, perhaps best summed up by the fact that facilities on their website includes "colour TV" (is there any other kind these days). Wireless internet advertised was not an in-room service. We considered forfeiting our monies to go elsewhere.
