“Great location even greater concierge team”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

My husband and I have stayed at this property a number of times. The location is unbeatable. Stoll to the main Brisbane Mall, QPAC, South Bank, train, bus etc. We always book a corner room which is spacious, light filled and has an interesting outlook. Reasonably priced car parking on the premises is available, The concierge team are excellent. Well informed and friendly, in particular Adam. The pool area etc is user friendly and always clean and tidy.

Room Tip: Corner position.

“Great Stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

Had a great time with my kids when I took them for a weekend trip to Brisbane. The staff were friendly and the doorman even took time to chat with my little ones about the show we were going to see...The hotel is within walking distance to the train and city which suited our travel plans perfectly. The rooftop pool offered great views of Brisbane also. Breakfast in the restaurant was lovely but was a little disappointed with a couple of our dinner meals. The restaurant also provided the kids with activity sheets which the kids really enjoyed completing. Would stay there again for sure.

“Very good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

This was my first stay at this hotel but am well travelled.
We were upgraded, without asking, to a corner room which is excellent in all aspects. Reception staff very professional as were doorman and other staff. Hotel location is fantastic with easy walk to most areas of interest. The hotel is very well presented, perhaps recently renovated. Did not eat in the hotel but the restautant looked very appealing and modern.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are spacious and well laid out

“Good location for the City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

Stayed here with work recently and found it fine. Restaurant served a good dinner and the hotel was located close to the City. Rooms are functional, nothing special but acceptable.

“Average hotel, poor sound insulation in rooms.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

Stayed here often due work. Not impressed. Better hotels around for same price. Location is good.
The good : nice big lobby, twin sink bathroom, no crowd in restaurant and bar.
The bad : thin walls and doors, poor sound insulation (especially noticeable when housekeeping and mini-bar staff visit every room and slam the doors shut every time), poor quality food in restaurant and 'no' atmosphere in bar (that's the reason why there's no crowd, even during weekeds), insufficient elevators, sad looking gym.
