“Nice apartments a little way out”

Nice apartment, roomy and well appointed. Serviced weekly not daily. Pool a bit chilly! Slightly odd location up a steep hill from the main routes and about half way between Fortitude and the CBD. Last uphill drag back was a pain. But there is parking so for those driving it would be fine. 7/11 over the road and Coles at the bottom of the hill so catering is fairly easy. Also good cheap Asian restaurant (The Hub) opposite Coles and a good coffee shop too

“Pretty good place to stay - great value for money!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2010

We stayed there for 2 weeks and got a really good rate from Eric and John (managers) via email.
I wouldn't say the place was poorly maintained as someone noticed in a review.
It was pretty clean actually.
It's a really good value for money if you can make it 100 - 110 dollars per night for 10-14 days stay. Definitely better than staying at a hotel for a similar price where you will pay lots of extras for dishwasher, washer, drier, etc.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom apt. - there was a really good washer, dryer, (never used the dishwasher though), microwave, toaster, some kichen utensils including pots and pans, el. kettle,an oven - gas stove, flat panel TV (sharp 42 inches). The balcony overlooked the street. toilet was clean and we had our towels replaced a couple of times:). Its proximity to the city downtown was really appreciated... which is like a 2 minute drive to queen street, 1 minute drive to woolworths.
The sauna was good and you can use it 24/7 as well as the swimming pool.
The staff were also quite helpful with the maps and advice and mailed my letters to my home address in the other city when we moved out.
I wouldn't mind coming back here...

“Excellent apartments; excellent rates”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 July 2010

Stayed 3 nights here with 3 mates for State Of Origin game. Loved the apartment, loved the city - climate and people - very warm and friendly.

Apartment was brilliant: 2 double rooms (1 with en suite) main bathroom, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, stereo, 40" tv - and excellent big balcony. Included is chinaware, tumblers, cutlery. apartment was very spacious - had 2 roll away single beds brought up that fitted easily in the lounge.

Supermarket at bottom of hill with bottle store and bakery (3 min walk) to stock up the kitchen and bathroom. Town centre was 5-10 minutes walk away. Airport a $30 taxi ride. Suncorp Stadium a 10 minute taxi ride. Reception is manned from 0800-1800 - very helpful staff.

Rate was very good $480 for 3 nights. Not the cheapest in Brisbane but definitely not the most expensive either. Wi-fi in the room was expensive.

Will definitely return here. Come on the Blues!!

“We WILL be back”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 May 2009

We just returned from Fiji and arrived in Brisbane for two nights before returning home to Adelaide. Needing something that resembled home and all the usual needs that comes with having a young family we found the Q Resort Tribeca Apartments FANTASTIC. We received great rates on a one bedroom apartment by contacting them direct (better than online). Michelle, the manager, arranged for a fold out bed for our 5year old in the lounge area and a cot in our room for the baby.
Some things to note:
- Full kitchen available with a 7eleven across the road or Woolworths complex 300meters down the road.
- Two hotels and one pizza place across the road for eating out. (was a little loud on Sat night in the street but we slept through most of it due to being very tired).
- Full laundry with sink, washer and drier.
- Airconditioner and Foxtel.
I had a few needs and found Michelle most helpful. The apartment was very comfortable, not 5 star, but fine for our needs. We were able to walk into the city, down the mall and across the river to Southbank. - no car needed.

“Poorly maintained, good location, reasonable value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 March 2009

Stayed two nights in two bedroom apartment. Great location in Spring Hill, short walk to everything. Apartment reasonably spacious, reasonably clean apart from stains on carpet. Helpful and friendly front desk staff. Free parking underneath. Our room was poorly maintained, fridge not working properly, oven not working properly, sliding doors to balcony didn't close or lock, air conditioner dripped water inside onto the carpet. Also air cond was in lounge only so bedrooms were hot. Overall reasonable value for the price we paid, but would not stay again. For another $30-40 could have somewhere far superior I think.
