The apartments are conveniently located being a short stroll into the CBD area and easy access via car to other parts of Brisbane. It's easy to find, and the entrance is well marked.
The furnishing is very basic and fairly aged. The apartment, whilst large, was very sparsely furnished. The TV included some pay TV channels, however I could not get the correct resolution, it was either too small, or parts of the picture were cut off. The lighting in the rooms are ok, the air conditioner was unable to hold a constant temperature so was either on or off, and there are plenty of marks on the walls and small stains on the carpets, and the venetian blinds were broken. Plenty of cutlery and crockery is provided but I did not use the kitchen facilities except the toaster so cannot comment further. A full sized fridge is provided and a supermarket is located about 100m down the road if you want to arrange your own meals.
The reception hours are very limited and very 'casual' in their service approach. They say one parking spot is provided per apartment which is an appealing factor when booking, however I saw only 4 dedicated bays for guests, with the others which guests had to use being assigned for visitors in a non-secured location. The apartments are only serviced weekly, so if you're only there for a few days you have to clean up your own rubbish down the refuse chute, which is always full meaning taking your rubbish down to the basement to dispose of it yourself.
If you're after fairly basic accommmodation then Tribeca will suit, however those looking for a bit more in their stay would be advised to look elsewhere.
