Unlike some of the reviewers here we found the apartment to be good value for money. The rooms are of reasonable size, having a study large enough to accommodate a very kid-friendly bed, good gym and pool. The facilities are of an acceptable standard and the location is excellent. The staff were extremely helpful also.
When paying significantly less for a serviced apartment the expectation is that there will be a difference in quality compared to others such as Quest or Medina. For us the differences were mostly trivial; bit of a step from the shower, no bottle opener or coffee plunger (immediately provided when asked for), very limited choice of TV channels. if we were paying a rate similar to the more high profile companies and if we were going to be spending more time in our hotel then I would be disappointed (in fact if we were able to afford it we would have preferred to stay at the Medina Storey Bridge which is a beautiful hotel).
There seems to be a pampering mentality of entitlement at odds with reality amongst some of the reviews.
