Comfortable clean and quiet. Close to town with plenty of parking. Booked through lastminute.com and got a good deal.

For a rate of $220 a night these apartments were sadly lacking.
Decor was very tired and there were not even bedside lights so you had to get out of bed to turn light off. Fan in bedroom was very noisy. Bed was hard.

We began and ended our 7 night visit to the top end with a night at the Alatai apartments. 2 bedroom apartments are very expensive in Darwin in July, so this place at $255/night was good value for its location, well maintained and clean. It’s not right in the CBD, but just on the edge and not too far to walk. Only a few minutes drive too from the Mindil beach markets which are a great night’s out. It has a full kitchen with lounge, double bedroom, 2nd room with 2 singles and a rollaway in the lounge room.

Staff were very helpful, nice grounds and pool with BBQ area and table settings to eat outdoors. It really is a good base for families, even a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom which is very handy. All in all a great stay, would certainly return if back here with our kids.

Quiet spot away from main city centre but close enough for easy walking around CBD. Friendly staff, clean and well appointed rooms, lovely pool. Reasonably priced. Was a perfect place for our week long stay.
