This hotel has the friendliest and most accommodating staff, and this was the difference between an average stay and an excellent one. We were only there for 24 hours between flights but were able to use the hotel as a base while we did some sight-seeing, with the very practical and helpful staff providing us with whatever we needed (coolroom storage, umbrellas, laundry, etc). The rooms were fine, nothing flash, but comfortable, good bed and nice view (King Deluxe Harbour View room). The pool was nice and the breakfast good, with a DIY juice maker and fruit/vegie selection which was a nice touch. Overall very satisfied and will definitely return if ever we are in Darwin again.

We stayed just two night and was not too impressed, but it wasn't too bad either. We had a big room for me and my three daughters, It was clean. The facilities had no charm what so ever. The location was very good, as good as i gets in Darwin. For the price I had expected more. You get a great room at a grand hotel in Stockholm/Sweden for the same price, but then again everything in Australia is very expensive.
The staff was very good and we found the facilities to be very clean which of course is important.

A recent stay was made delightful by helpful staff who got a pleading email me for a birthday cake at 5pm on the day of our arrival ... Not only did they find me a cake for my daughter, but supplied it with candles, balloons, a card and champers for mum & dad! On top of this, it was a complimentary service ... really thankful for the assistance I received, it was awesome!

As others have said, not the newest rooms around but everything we needed was there, basic mini bar and bathroom with bath and separate shower, all very clean and air conditioning worked well and was quiet ... I thought it was very well priced also, having stayed in other Darwin hotels for business trips that we're much more expensive and definitely not better.

While the rooms are quite tired, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, very friendly nothing was to much trouble and they always had a smile on their faces. Food and service were very good. Free undercover parking is a bonus.
