Pros:
- Large clean room
- Location right in the CBD
- Very quiet
- Good air-conditioning
- $91 per night when similar hotels were $120+
Cons:
- Room had a very small window so received little natural light
- No Foxtel
- No gym

Excellent location and large, clean good value rooms if you do the 3 night minimum deal. No choice but to use valet parking if you want to be off the street which seems advisable since it's right behind the trashy monsoon bar. So budget in the valet parking. Otherwise good.

I've just come back from Darwin and stayed initially at the Travelodge which sure had it's failings but Darwin Central couldn't be faulted EXCEPT for the car parking. I wasn't pleased about the valet situation and being told I had limited access to the car.

Apart from that, the rooms can't be faulted, the staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was fabulous, the hotel is well located and quiet.

My first time in Darwin and I will definitely be going there more often. Love the place. I will stick with the Darwin Central for sure.

Stayed there because of the Qantas Strike actions for 4 days,
