We stayed at Toddy's for three nights in total - one before a trip and two after.
As promised we got pick-up at the airport but two hours after we had told that we would arrive (when we called to confirm our pick-up). So nice to be pick-up but not so nice to wait that long not knowing if they had forgot us... The driver was fun and gave us some good information about Alice - but should consider to keep his opinion about the aboriginal people to himself (when you can't say anything nice then don't...).
The location is okay but not that close to the city - but then it is good that Toddy's Bar is there, where you can buy cheap and decent food.
The staff is friendly and helpful and it is great that there is a large luggage storage.
You can rent bikes - though they are a bit expensive. Note that there are no helmets.
The kitchen is empty! But we found out on the second day - after we had looked in all cupboards and had given up with the cooking - yiha for Toddy's Bar - that you can burrow cutlery, pots, pans and plates at reception. It would be nice with a sigh in the kitchen telling that!
Beds and room are fine - and you don't notice the plastic on the pillow when the linen is on.
All in all a nice place to stay.

I am posting this from the room to say Do not stay here!

I am in one of the double rooms and there is no air conditioner in here and no fans and I am dying! I dont know what the temperature is but I am soaked in sweat. If you open the window to try and get a breeze through there is no flyscreen so the mosquitoes get in and buzz around your head.

I can't find any contact numbers either, so I don't know if this is a complete mistake or not. All I know is I am miserable and can't wait to leave.

I think this is officially the wort place I have ever stayed.

GOOD: This place is quite centrally located, about 20 mins walk to town. We were picked up on time from the airport by a free Toddy's shuttle. Make sure you call ahead to let them know you're coming. There are 2 pools on site so you have some reprieve from the heat. The first night we thought we lucked out with a clean double dorm with an en-suite

BAD: We found quickly that the air-conditioner was broken in our room! Worst night of my life.

UGLY: The 2nd night we were switched to a 6 person dorm which was fine but the other dorm-mates were very noisy and drunk going in and out all night and the bathroom was not ideal.

All in all, Toddy's is worth the money that you pay for it. It has it's own bar and small restaurant so you don't have to go into town if you don't want to (the streets are NOT safe at night). If you do go into town, it is only $8-10 taxi ride.The 2nd night we had air-con so we had more sleep than the previous night even though it was interrupted. Some other friends were upgraded for no reason so they had a great stay.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights, one before our Uluru tour and one after,they even stored our luggage while we were away. We stayed in a family room, which was clean and tidy (the shower/toilet area could have done with a vacuum). The shuttle bus picked us up from the airport and took us back , toast and tea was included for breakfast and the meals at the bar were quite reasonable. The reception staff were friendly and answered my numerous questions with a smile.
The only downside was getting my luggage up the stairs to our room, but I would definitley stay at Toddys again.
