Stayed here last December and was so disappointed. Had stayed many years ago and had fond memories however my latest stay left little to be desired. THE COCKROACHES kept me up all night. I exaggerate not, there were at least 3 of them and they were HUGE! Their crunching on some crumbs on the carpet woke me up. I couldn't sleep after that. The rooms themselves aren't bad, the sauna was out of order while I was there and the two swimming pools are ok... one is right in the middle of the carpark.

Stopped here for the night as a last minute decision. Check-in staff offered me a good rate, and the room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly large.
Dinner in the restaurant was pleasant, although the serving size of the dessert cheese platter was disappointing.
Breakfast was really good.

Would definitely stay here again.

This motel, while relatively clean, has been the worst motel I have stayed at in years. It is old, and not well maintained. There was a large gap underneath my door, letting in the cold and dust. They also host weddings at the motel, and my room (all rooms in fact) we blasted with music from 9:00 to 12:00 PM. I called to complain, but they didn't care. I tried room service and ordered their hamburger, and it was so bad I couldn't eat it. I suggest you skip this motel when visiting Wagga Wagga.

My husband and I recently stayed for 2 nights here as our son had his march out parade at Kapooka. With the miriad of motel choices I was a bit sceptical after reading recent reviews of this motel. It was a pleasant surprise - an easy 10 minute (max.) walk to the main shopping street (Baylis St), right opposite a large park and indoor swimming pool if you are travelling with young children - the indoor heated swimming pools/with water fall features would please any small child. The room was very clean, slightly larger than the average, the hot water for showers was perfect as was the quite air conditioner/heater. We booked through Wotif and got a better deal than the motel offerred (even with their discount for family of Kapooka recruits). The deal included buffet breakfast which was plentiful and varied, as good as any I've had in other motels. The woman in charge of the dining room for breakfast was very friendly and most helpful with maps and directions. I wouldn't think of booking anywhere else if I had to travel to Wagga again.
