Room furnishings out dated but soft furnishings fine. Old style TV & shower had no pressure. Had a poor night's sleep due to loud fridge cutting in. Also the walls despite being brick were rather thin as we could hear coughing & other noises from the neighboring room

This hotel was pretty much what you would expect. I stayed here with my husband and 2 small children while he was in Wagga Wagga on business. We were in a second floor room with a queen and a twin bed.

The pros: newly remodeled bathroom was very clean, floors seemed clean, comfortable sheets with sheet-wrapped duvet on beds, comfortable pillows, new flat screen TV, room was pretty large, 2nd floor room overlooked street and park with minimal road noise. The room had a refrigerator with minibar items but plenty of room for our food for the kids. Park with playground equiptment right across the street for kids. Very walkable to downtown shopping area.

The cons: Rooms are not at all soundproofed- could hear the words of regular conversation from room next door and people in hall. Felt bad about the kids being loud because of this, though they were asleep by 8pm. The reverse-cycle AC didn't work very well- it was somehow stuck into not working when we got there and it got very cold- I fiddled with it for a while and then it was stuck on and got very hot. The windows are quite small and don't let in much natural light- needed lights on during the day. Chairs, decorative pillows, other items that would not be cleaned each day were very dirty. There was no room service menu in the room- kind of a bummer I got the kids to bed and wanted to order some food as my husband was still working- didn't want to have a long conversation about what was available to disrupt their sleep, though, so I passed on it.

All in all, I think this room was fine. Most of the things that bothered me were only bad because I was in the room for a large part of the day with small children. If you are just sleeping there, it is totally fine.

I was attending a wedding in Wagga that was having the reception at the Country Comfort, so where else to stay but at the Country Comfort Wagga. I'm now glad we did stay there. The staff were very friendly on arrival and helpful. We checked into our room that was just what we expected. A standard level of decor and decoration. Most importantly it had a good shower, clean toilet, and very comfy bed. As for the wedding, it was great. The room looked fantastic, the food was even better, staff were very attentive and the band was the best wedding band I had ever seen, all in all a great night. I would defiantly stay there here again. I would not recommend it if you are after high end luxury, thats why its called Country Comfort.

We've been to the Country Comfort in Wagga for my sister's wedding several years ago & everything was perfect from the reception room (the gallery) to the food & service but we returned tonight for a Valentines set dinner which was the opposite of our past experience. To cut to the chase the room we were sat in was cheaply furnished, tacky from the carpet to the wall features to the lighting and sadly the over priced, late food did not make up for it. My prawn entree was surprisingly good but both our mains, the pork & the chicken as well as the desserts the flavours were all off balance, each leaving a bad taste in our mouths. On the upside the staff were friendly and attentive and our drinks were nice but we doubt we'll be going back any time soon.
