We only stayed one night at this hotel and I couldn't fault the hotel itself. The rooms were clean and presentable with plenty of room. The hotel is also conveniently located about a 5 min walk from the underground, which is excellent when you're wearing heels! This was, however, the worst nights sleep of my life. All we could hear was the thudding of club music, screaming and yelling and smashing bottles. I assume there was a club attached to the hotel because we could literally feel the music vibrating through our room. I kept hoping that the noise would die down but it must have been the early hours of the morning by the time things quietened down and we must only have had a couple of hours of disturbed sleep at most. Laying in bed feeling exhausted the silence didn't last for long before we heard what sounded like lorries. Then there was more bottles smashing. Then there was more shouting and talking. We ended up feeling fatigued and drained all Sunday because we'd had such a bad nights sleep. It explained why there were free ear plugs in reception so it must be a regular thing for there to be excessive noise. We won't be going back to this hotel because the noise was awful. If you like clubbing and can stay up until 6am then it might be ideal because at least you wouldn't have to walk very far.
