never ever ver stay here unless you are totally broke, desperate and all streets are full of homeless. bed bugs are a big problem here, also flees because somebody brought back a dog, which is not allowed, also with the crazy manager who spends all the money she earns (off travellers) on poker machines. the other people there are long stayers and are all creepy, cockroaches galore! they'll soon be charged rent as their's so many and they are everywhere in the hostel. I once had to take a shower with 3 of them. the kitchen is filthy and useless, wouldn't eat a thing there was always eating out. the beds are terrible, so uncomfy, dirty sheets and towels provided when you check in, must provide own toilet paper?!?!?!?! the place stinks! no matter how much air spray, bleach and air freshners you use you can still smell the ghastly stench of the place! once i left i had to wash EVERY item of clothing, including the ones i never wore just to get the smell out of them. the roof in reception has collapsed. was a nice welcome home suprise one night when i came back to the hostel. not every day you see the ceiling on the floor, now the carpet is all mouldy and the manager and owner don't plan on doing anything about it, just let it rot away! also one of the bedroom's was effected by the poor weather conditions & sh*ithole of a place, the ceiling is cracked and there's drips coming out of it into a bucket placed in the middle of the floor. very inconvinient for people staying in that room! kitchen also floods when it rains. televisions are faulty, can get one channel and even then it's blurry and poor signal. also don't be fooled when you get told "free internet".. that's a lie, the manager gives you a rubber bracelet and tells you to go round the corner to use a computer in travel agents! smoking is allowed in all rooms which i find very unfair on non smokers like myself! all in all my stay here (which was cut short because i couldn't handle staying there) was absolutely worthless, disgusting, smelly and full of cockroaches! wouldn't advise anybody to stay here even if they are desperate you would be better off sleeping on the streets! bit extreme but it's the truth! the place would be better off knocked down and built from scratch, maybe then they could add a real kitchen not some benches shoved in some out door area with faulty roofing! DO NOT STAY HERE! EVER!
